FIRM UPDATE: The Bingham Group, LLC Launches Lobby Mentorship Program

The Bingham Group, LLC has launched a mentorship program for Austin area college students to learn about the business of lobbying that will start in September 2019.

The program was introduced last Friday at the 2019 YMCA Texas Youth and Government state conference for high school students. Bingham Group CEO and Founder, A.J. Bingham, spoke with a select group of ambitious students interested in pursuing lobbying today and announced the program. 

“The goal of this program was to provide inroads for students seriously considering the lobbying profession,” Bingham said. “This is a great opportunity to learn about lobbying in a collaborative environment and better understand policy implementation at the local and state level.”

Students who complete the program with receive a letter of recommendation for future job applications/ graduate school and permission to use Mr. Bingham as a reference. This program is also an opportunity for future full-time and part-time positions with the firm for interested participants. 

The program begins in September 2019 and ends in December 2019. Early applicants will receive preference. Application closes July 1, 2019.
